Can You See The Beauty of Physics in Life?

It's been a really long time since my last post. For more than a month, I was busying for my final year project, assignments and exams. Speaking of works, that reminds me of the beauty of physics that I've learned. Physics is a natural science that involves the study of matter and its motion through spacetime, as well as all related concepts, including energy and force. More broadly, it is the general analysis of nature, conducted in order to understand how the universe behaves. Basically, physics encompasses everything in the universe. Every daily life is entangled to the laws of physics. Everything throw up to the sky will fall to the ground because of gravity, air flow form high pressure to low pressure, buildings are designed based of stability, and so on.

There are several things in physics that caught me eyes. First, the formula of work done. It is a simple formula where work done, W=F.d or W=FxdxCosθ. From the equation, we can interpret the work done as the outcome that we obtained. The work done is proportional to force, F and distance, d. We can also interpret the force as the effort the gave in and distance as the determination. Therefore, the more effort and longer determination are, the more outcome we will get. Then, the most important factor in determining the outcome from what we did is the Cosθ factor. It refer to the direction or decision we made. This factor is very tricky because is can ultimately change the outcome of what we expecting to the opposite.
The formula of work done

This is so true in life where effort and determination is needed to achieve success. However, without correct direction, we might heading to the wrong way. I always keep this formula in my mind especially for studying. With a simple formula, the method of success already been explained and that really makes me amused by the beauty of physics.

The second thing is the interpretation of static friction and dynamic friction in our life. You see, in order to move an object the static friction must be exceeded before it can start to move. The catch is that static friction is always higher value that dynamic friction. From, I infer that it is always harder to start anything than to maintain it. As the Chinese saying goes, 万事起头难,坚持到底必定有成。 The beauty of life is again explained by physics phenomenon.

The third thing is the Newton's Third Law. The Newton's Third Law state that the mutual forces of action and reaction between two bodies are equal, opposite and collinear. This means that whenever a first body exerts a force F on a second body, the second body exerts a force −F on the first body. F and −F are equal in magnitude and opposite in direction. The same thing happen in our life as what we did will eventually get back to us. As the Chinese saying goes, 善有善报,恶有恶报,不是不报,时辰未到! Also there is a saying that sounds like what goes around comes around. So, the Newton's Third Law again explain the beauty of life. However, in my own opinion, the retribution is not always the same as what done. It can be in many form and probably not by the same person the will perform the retribution.

That is all for my latest post and there are many more beauty of physics in life that we can discover. However, it is up to you the realize it and appreciate it.
